Pretentious Jacks (Formerly Known as Skronat)

The man behind the pulse of Pretentious Jacks spent many of his early years following his father after military transfers to Florida, back to Traverse City, and eventually settling in Sault Ste. Marie. Dennis first discovered music in high school, but showed more interest in the production aspect. When he finally sat behind a drum kit for the first time, he became addicted to perhaps the most potent drug known to artists worldwide--the thrill of a live show. By utter coincidence, he met Leedle and Gustafson at Northern Michigan University, and has been the boom behind Pretentious Jacks ever since. When Pretentious Jacks' music spreads, Dennis hopes audiences will experience the same electric thrill he did on his first fateful night behind the drums.
