Pretentious Jacks (Formerly Known as Skronat)

The man responsible for the pulsing, groovy licks on the bass guitar, Ryan began his musical upbringing in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan.  Ryan had heard his father’s extensive vinyl collection before birth. Coupled with his mother’s pregnant concert-going experiences, the foundation for an effective musical existence had been firmly set. It’s been rumored that when Ryan was born, he screamed in harmony with his mother.  When he was ten, he received his first Beatles album, which catalyzed his interest in rock music.  On his 12^th birthday, he was given his first guitar, and within a month had learned the entire Beatles’ music catalogue.  Maybe it was Zeus smiling, maybe it was fate, maybe it was the fact they had every class together, but Ryan and Dennis were introduced to each other in High School and have been best friends ever since. They started their first band together “Men W/ Rugged Good Looks.” It wasn’t long before they were reunited again through Pretentious Jacks.
